چکیده

فضای عمومی‌شهری قلمروی حضورِ گروه‌های اجتماعی مختلف با الگوهای رفتاری متفاوت است. مفهوم فضا در این معنا موجودیتی است که پیش از هرچیز، به واسطه حضور افراد و از خلال کنش فردی و روابط اجتماعی شکل می‌گیرد. فضایی که ما در زندگی روزمره آن را زیست می‌کنیم، اساسا برساخته‌ای اجتماعی و سیاسی است. از همین رو می‌توان گفت به واقع فضا بیش از آنکه چیزی کمیت‌یافته و قابل‌اندازه‌گیری باشد، مفهومی‌سیال و همواره در حالِ شدن است. فضاهای عمومی‌شهری از یک طرف فرهنگ، ارزش‌ها، اهداف و ایدئولوژی‌های غالب در هر جامعه‌ای را بازنمایی می‌کنند و از طرفی دیگر با فراهم آوردنِ زمینه‌های حضور، امکان‌های فضایی-از مقاومت و ازآنِ خودسازیِ نمادین گرفته تا شورش و طغیان- را برای گروه‌های از مرکز رانده شده، تسهیل می‌کنند. متعاقبِ آنچه بیان شد، مسئله و پرسشِ اصلی نوشتارِ پیش رو این است که فضا چگونه به واسطه ی روابط و نیروها، تولید و بازتولید می‌شود؟ وقتی از تولیدِ فضا صحبت می‌کنیم به واقع از چه چیزی سخن می‌گوییم؟ فضا چگونه زمینه‌های تحققِ امکان‌ها و بالقوگی‌های فضایی از جمله ازآن خودسازی، عاملیت، تولید و بازتولید و حضور در فضا را فراهم می‌کند؟ در راستای پاسخ به سؤالات مطرح شده، نوشتار حاضر در قسمت روش‌شناسی با تاکید بر اینکه روش، نظریه و واقعیتِ فضایی اموری در هم تنیده‌اند، ابتدا در مقامِ مقدمه و طرح مساله در مورد فضای عمومی‌و فضا بحث می‌کند و مسئله‌ی نوشتار را مطرح می‌کند. سپس در ادامه، زیرِ عنوانِ نگاهِ نظری به سویه‌های مختلفِ مسئله‌ی فضا از جمله تولید و بازتولیدِ فضا و چگونگی ارتباط متقابل آن با مناسبات قدرت، تفاوت‌های فضایی، بهنجارسازی‌های فضایی، تاکتیک‌های فضایی و مقاومت، زندگی روزمره و تجربه فضا و زمان می‌پردازد.
