ارتباط گفتمان چرک و زیست‌‌قدرت در پرندۀ یهودی و عزاداران برنارد مالامود

چکیده

پژوهش حاضر به ‌‌بررسی «گفتمان چرک» و ارتباط آن با پدیدۀ «مهاجرت» می‌‌پردازد. نویسنده با استفاده از رویکرد مطالعات‌‌ فرهنگی و بهره‌‌گیری نظریّات منتقدانی نظیر داگلاس و بومن و تمرکز بر موضوعاتی چون انزجار، غریبگی و اقتصاد احساسی در پی پاسخ به ‌‌این پرسش بنیادی است که چگونه گفتمان زیست‌‌قدرت از مقولۀ «چرک» به‌‌منزلۀ ابزاری در راستای کنترل، انقیاد و حذف اقلیت «دایاسپورا» استفاده کرده و آن را با سیاست پیوند زده است؟ بدین منظور، دو داستان کوتاه مالامود - پرندۀ یهودی (1963) و عزاداران (1955) - به روش توصیفی‑تحلیلی بررسی می‌‌شوند تا با تمرکز بر مقولۀ «چرک»، ارتباطِ بین اعمال نظم بر بدنِ افراد و انضباط مورد نظر گفتمان زیست‌‌قدرت تبیین شود. چنین استدلال می‌‌شود که جنبش «ضدچرک» مدرنیته، با تحمیل دوانگارۀ «تمیز»/«کثیف» به عرصۀ جغرافیای فرهنگی وارد شده و در راستای تداوم ساختارهای سلسله‌‌مراتبی گفتمان انسان‌‌گرای لیبرال، ‌‌دسته‌‌بندی قومیتی، حذف و شمول افراد گام برداشته است. این امر به سیاسی‌‌شدن مقولۀ حیات و شکل‌‌گیری «بیگانگانی» انجامیده که مصداق بی‌‌نظمی و ناهنجاری هستند. به‌علاوه، گفتمان لیبرال با ذاتی جلوه دادن مقولۀ چرک در این گروه‌‌ها، سعی کرده توجّه جامعۀ جهانی را از فقر تحمیل‌‌شده بر آنها منحرف و با بازنمایی ایشان به‌منزلۀ منبع تهدید ملّی، در راستای حذف فیزیکی آنها اقدام کند.
