چکیده
This research aims to identify and analyze the managerial factors affecting the development of sports equipment and facilities in Iran, with an emphasis on economic indicators. In terms of purpose, the research is applied and in terms of nature, it is exploratory. The research method is combined (qualitative-quantitative) and with a descriptive-survey approach. The statistical population included all professors and managers of state sports centers in the country in 2023, and the sampling was purposefully carried out using the snowball technique until theoretical saturation was reached. In the qualitative part, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 experts in the field of sports facility management and analyzed using open and axial coding. In the quantitative part, a structured self-interaction questionnaire was used to classify the barriers and explain the relationships between them. The validity of the tool was confirmed by experts and its reliability was confirmed by the test-retest method (reliability coefficient 0.875). The findings showed that the most important economic barriers to the development of sports facilities include the country's economic barriers, structural barriers, and low quality of domestic products, which are at the first level. Also, weak management skills and lack of authority were categorized at the second level, and facility deterioration and chronic budget deficit were categorized at the third level. Social and human barriers were also at the lowest level. In a situation where the country is facing economic problems and restrictions, identifying these barriers can pave the way for effective use of resistance economy policies in the field of sports.
