 In the name of God Now that with the help of the almighty and with the efforts of the scholarly writers of our country, respected authorities and the esteemed editorial board, the scientific research “Journal of Applied and Computational Sciences in Mechanics” has become available to the research and academic community, we sincerely congratulate all for this achievement. Based on the recommendations of the ministry of science, research and technology for moving towards specialized scientific research journals and the cease of publication of the “Engineering Faculty Journal”, this Journal was born. The editorial board, which is formed by the nation’s distinctive scholars that are acquainted with today’s research, is determined to not only enhance this journal to the nation’s top journal list, but also to prepare the conditions for its international recognition and listing in order to achieve higher citation rates. Scientific attempts and tireless work is essential to achieve these visions, and fortunately, with the increasing growth of scientific research and significant technological improvements in nuclear, aerospace, stem cell and other fields, this matter is feasible. What most researchers and authors expect is rational and quick response from the journal. In this regard, in addition to using the invaluable experience of others, the evaluation process will be in continues revision, and now we can confidently enunciate that for most cases, the initial revision of the paper and the overall opinion of the editorial board will be announced approximately 6 months after submission. However, with more cooperation from the respected reviewers, this time can be further shortened.
