Scientific publication management is one of the subcategories of the Research and Technology Deputy of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, which has been established with the aim of managing and directing publishing in two areas of books and journals. Scientific and specialized journals are one of the most important tools for producing and disseminating science, technology, and knowledge in every country, especially in the university sector, through which the findings of researchers and scientists’ research and ideas are published. Scientific journals have a long history in universities. Policy-making, drafting relevant regulations and guidelines, and defining indicators for improving and promoting scientific publications in the university’s publishing management are developed, communicated, and implemented under the supervision of the Monitoring and Promotion of Publications Committee. The number of scientific journals published in the fields of humanities, social sciences, agriculture, plant sciences, veterinary medicine, basic sciences, and engineering is currently 49 titles.
