چکیده

نهشته بوکسیت قشلاق در 110 کیلومتری جنوب شرقی گرگان واقع شده است. این نهشته به‌صورت یک افق چینه سان با طول بیش از 2 کیلومتر و ضخامت حدود 25 متر در بین کربنات های سازندهای روته و الیکا تشکیل شده است. تجزیه و تحلیلهای بافتی، هر دو خاستگاه برجازا و نابرجازا را برای این نهشته نشان می‌دهد. بوهمیت، دیاسپور، آناتاز، روتیل، هماتیت، گوتیت، کائولینیت، سوانبرگیت، پیریت و کوارتز در پاراژنز کانسنگ شناسایی شد. براساس شواهد بافتی و کانی‌شناسی، این نهشته به پنج واحد مجزا شامل بوکسیت بالایی، کائولینیت بالایی، بوکسیت سخت، کائولینیت پایینی و بوکسیت پایینی قابل تقسیم است. ضریب تجمع عناصر جزئی و شاخصهای ژئوشیمیایی مانند Ti/Cr, TiO2/Al2O3, Zr/Ti و Nb/Y، همراه با شواهد زمین شناسی، پیشنهاد کننده بازالت های سازند سلطان‌میدان به عنوان منشأ اصلی مواد بوکسیتی است. تلفیق داده های کانی شناسی و زمین شیمیایی نشان می دهد که این نهشته در طی دو مرحله اصلی تشکیل شده است. ابتدا، مواد بوکسیتی، اکسیدهای Fe و Ti، و کانیهای رسی بر اثر فرآیندهای بوکسیتی شدن درجازا از بازالت ها تشکیل شده اند. سپس، این مواد به حفرات کارستی انتقال و به‌صورت یک افق بوکسیتی نهشته شده اند.
