Abstract

The main goal of the present research is to investigate the effect of the Emotionally Focused Therapy to increase marital adjustment & positive feeling among couples suffered to extra marital relations. The sample was included 12 clients. Treatment plan (EFT) accomplished individually. Participants were assigned into experimental & control groups randomly. The Dyadic Adjustment Scale and Positive Feeling Questionnaire used to two groups. Experimental group persons received 9 sessions of EFT, while control group was on waiting list. results for pre and post test revealed that EFT has increased marital adjustment at the experimental group persons. Whereas there was not viewed any significant change in control group. EFT was also more effective for females rather than males.
