Abstract
High-rise construction and construction of tall buildings is one of the construction procedures in today's world. Expensive land and its scarcity are among the most important reasons for turning to this style of construction. According to the special conditions of these types of buildings, the issue of changes in the urban environment is very important in them. For this purpose, the aim of the present study is to analyze the effects of high-rise construction on changes in the urban environment of the case study of Kianpars neighborhood in Ahvaz city. The research is descriptive-survey in terms of nature and method and practical in terms of results. Data collection tools are interviews and questionnaires. By comprehensively reviewing the background of the research and soliciting opinions from experts, the number of 40 high-ranking experts and specialists in urban development and urban affairs were identified, and then the internal relationships between these enablers were investigated using the ISM method. The research results showed that after analyzing the data, these indicators were classified in 3 different levels. Economic, physical, infrastructure, functional-economic, physical-spatial were placed at the high level (level 1), which are the most basic and important indicators of the high-ranking development of Kianpars neighborhood of Ahvaz, which directly and indirectly affects other indicators, therefore it is necessary to receive the serious attention of managers and urban planners. The results of this research help the decision-makers of urban affairs to be able to make smarter decisions and choose a more appropriate path for the development of the high-rise building industry in Kianpars neighborhood of Ahvaz city for the positive effects of high-rise construction on the changes in the urban environment.
