چکیده

بخش بالایی سازند سورمه (هم ارز سازند عرب در جنوب خلیج فارس‌) در میدان نفتی سلمان با سن ژوراسیک پایانی (کیمرجین ـ تیتونین‌) دارای رخساره‌های کربناته با میان لایه‌های تبخیری است. این سازند یکی از مهم‌ترین مخازن نفتی در زاگرس چین خورده و خلیج فارس به شمار می‌آید. مطالعه رخساره‌های میکروسکپی سازند سورمه در چاه مورد مطالعه به شناسایی 10 ریزرخساره مربوط به پهنه بالای جزر و مدی، پهنه بین جزر و مدی، لاگون و سد‌های پشته‌ای انجامید. این رسوبات در یک سکوی کربناتی از نوع رمپ کم ژرفا همانند شرایط امروزین خلیج فارس نهشته شده‌اند. مهم‌ترین فرآیندهای دیاژنزی شامل میکرایتی شدن، نوریختی، دولومیتی شدن، انحلال و سیمانی شدن است. باتوجه به شواهدی همچون انحلال گسترده و پیدایش تخلخل‌های قالبی و حفره‌ای و ساخت انواع سیمان‌های مربوط به محیط جوی (متئوریک) و تقدّم و تأخر فرآیندها می‌توان نتیجه گرفت توالی مورد مطالعه، پس از دیاژنز دریایی مستقیماً وارد محیط دفنی نشده ‌است، بلکه دست کم بخش‌هایی مانند سدهای اوولیتی، فرآیندهای دیاژنزی محیط فریاتیک آب شیرین را تحمل کرده و پس از آن دیاژنز محیط دفنی را پشت سر گذاشته‌اند.
