Abstract
Mulla Sadra, in light of his unique philosophical methodology and the intermediate and ultimate principles derived from his theories, has expressed varying views on the concepts of the perishing and persistence of beings in different contexts. He considers the names and attributes of God to be eternal due to God's divine permanence. However, he occasionally sees the intellects and the world of intellect as being eternal due to the preservation of the Almighty God, and in most cases, he describes them as eternal due to God's divine permanence. Mulla Sadra believes that the souls, after departing from the natural world, remain preserved by God's maintenance and, after their actualization, persist in the true, divine existence. He, like many other philosophers, refers to the natural world as perishing due to characteristics such as origination, change, and repeated motion. However, what can be inferred from the teachings of the mystics and philosophers of Transcendent Theosophy, based on their ultimate principles such as the personal unity of existence, the simplicity of beings, and the interpretation of causality as manifestation, is that all beings in the world of existence and all levels of the realms of being are sustained by the eternal existence of the Almighty God. Not only does perishing hold no meaning, but persistence through mere preservation is also meaningless.
