درآمدی بر مهم‌ترین معانی اصطلاح رتوریک

چکیده

رتوریک اصطلاحی است که از زمان افلاطون تا کنون دستخوش تغییرات بسیاری شده است. این اصطلاح که در ترجمه‌های فارسی کمتر به پیچیدگی‌های مفهومی آن توجه شده، دارای معانی گسترده‌ای است که با وجود تمایزات و اختلافاتی که با یکدیگر دارند بسیار در هم تنیده‌اند، به‌گونه‌ای که عموماً نمی‌توان کاربردهای متفاوت این اصطلاح را از یکدیگر تفکیک کرد. عموماً در زبان فارسی رتوریک را خطابه یا بلاغت ترجمه کرده‌اند و همین موضوع گاه سبب شده است که مفهوم این واژه به‌درستی به مخاطبان عرضه نشود و زمینه‌ساز درک نادرست مخاطبان گردد. نگارنده در این مقاله اصطلاح رتوریک را در چهار مفهوم متفاوت بررسی می‌کند که عبارتند از خطابه، بلاغت، سبک پست و نازل/لفاظی و ارتباطات/اقناع و به بیان تفاوت‌های معنایی این واژه در بافت‌های مختلف می‌پردازد. این تحقیق می‌تواند به محققان کمک کند تا در بافت‌های مختلف، معانی رتوریک را به‌درستی دریابند و در هنگام ترجمه در معادل‌گذاری‌ها دقت بیشتری داشته باشند.
